Also known as Grigori Efimovich Rasputin, who is the same monk involved in the historical downfall of Romanov dynasty of Russia. He was killed in 1916 in a long and drawn out assassination attempt that, among other things, saw him poisoned, stabbed, shot, and thrown into a freezing river. In this fictional account, he survived the assassination attempt and took refuge in a village near his hometown. He took the physical form of a young girl who recently died named Sonya, until he was discovered and killed by Saya in the past.
