Arisawa Mamizu lived in Pakistan when he was very young, then returned to Japan. After graduating from university worked in the hotel business for about a month, but then went on to become a writer. In 2001, received Silver Prize in the 8th Dengeki Game Novel Awards for Mugendai Zero (無限大ゼロ), and later published it as Infinity Zero: White Snow (インフィニティ・ゼロ 冬～white snow).
